Monica McBee has been a court reporter since March 26, 1990, and has worked with Mike Mobley Reporting since December of 2000.
From Monica’s perspective:
Background: I grew up in Piqua, Ohio, and still live there! I attended Clark State Community College and have an associate’s degree in business and court reporting.
Being a Court Reporter: I have always been a court reporter in my adult life. I began as an official court reporter for Judge Bixler in Darke County, Ohio (northwest of Dayton). Every day is interesting in the reporting field. Some days are more interesting than others, but every day is a new case. I enjoy going to different places and meeting new people. When I worked in Common Pleas Court, jury trials were always interesting. I love what I do and I truly enjoy going to work every day.
Personal Life: I have two children, Joel (22) and Marianne (18). Outside of my job, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
