Beverly Dillman has been a court reporter since 1976 and has been with Mike Mobley Reporting since 2001. She is currently based in and works as a court reporter in Columbus, OH, along with Cincinnati and Dayton.
From Beverly’s perspective:
What do you enjoy about court reporting? Every day is a different, and I feel like I continue to learn something new every day.
What’s one of the most interesting things you’ve encountered as a reporter? I worked on a terrorist trial in Connecticut, and have met many famous people when covering depositions.
Where did you grow up? I am a Navy “brat” and grew up all over the country. I was born in Port Hueneme, California (Ventura County).
What would you like to tell us about your family? I have four of the most fabulous grandchildren on the planet. My husband is a former golf professional, and has been with Honda for the past 31 years. I have two daughters. One is a special education teacher/autism specialist in Delaware, Ohio, and one is a senior at THE Ohio State University.
What do you enjoy doing outside of your job? Spending time with family.
