STAR is the premier organization for court reporting networking, technology and Case Catalyst training. The Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting (STAR) is a professional, not-for-profit organization that works toward the advancement of the latest technologies in the court reporting industry. Our over 700 members are court reporting firm owners and individuals engaged in or associated with the practice of shorthand reporting, and/or operating a computer-assisted transcription (CAT) system.
Court reporters and court reporting firm owners from across the nation and from Canada will be attending the conference for training and networking. While some of the sessions are geared towards technology training for court reporters, other business-related sessions are beneficial for firm owners and reporters. The conference is approved by NCRA for up to 1.2 CEUs.
