Victor Bonacore has been on the office support team at Mike Mobley Reporting since 2017.
From Victor’s perspective:
I grew up in Long Island, New York and since I could remember I loved movies and wanted to make my own. I made backyard movies with my siblings and friends, until I attended college at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in film production. After graduating I took to the big city and got hired at a company in Manhattan, NY called Media Blasters, a DVD distribution company and movie production house. I ran the theatrical department and produced shorts, and features for their sister company Fever Dreams.
I worked for many different film companies, being a production assistant, camera operator and boom operator on national commercials, and feature films of all budget levels. I have also directed and edited everything from music videos, supplemental DVD extras, commercials, promotional videos for independent businesses and even a wrestling show.
For a few years I worked for a court service company in Long Island, NY, wearing many hats and learning the legal field before I would transition from NY to Ohio.
I moved to Dayton, Ohio a little over 3 years ago, excited to explore a new city. Dayton is filled with a lot of amazing artist’s, filmmakers, musicians, and entertainers that I have been privileged to work with. It’s also a city with great character and atmosphere that I have been utilizing in productions since coming here.
I finished my first feature length film since moving here, which had its world premiere at the Neon theatre in downtown Dayton. My documentary is currently in distribution on Blu-Ray and DVD in North America. I am currently in pre-production on a new documentary about the world of independent professional wrestling.
Working at Mike Mobley Reporting:
With my experience in video production and the court service field, Mike Mobley Reporting was the perfect place for me to work. I handle a lot of the post video production work here, and take on most of the synchronization videos. A synchronized video is the original court reporter’s transcript synced up to the video and audio taped from a deposition to be used in court. It is important to make sure the synchronized videos are as perfectly synced as they can be. Every deposition is unique and I take pride on making sure my work is precise. I look forward to learning more about court reporting and look forward to one day being a legal videographer myself for Mike Mobley Reporting. I have been here for a short time, but the office staff I work with are wonderful and have been helpful & essential in my growth here. I am honored to be a part of the Mike Mobley employee family and genuinely look forward to coming into work every single day.
Family and Personal Life:
I love working and living in downtown Dayton. Any spare time I have is spent going on family adventures with my girlfriend and our amazing daughter Riley, making movies, watching pro wrestling, trying new foods, and anxiously awaiting the month of October!
